Makerspaces provide hands-on, creative ways for students to design, experiment, and invent as they engage in science, engineering, and tinkering. 

Makerspace is new to Hixon Elementary this year, and we have been enjoying it! ​We have LEGO, Play-Doh, blocks, craft supplies, art supplies, gems, and cups for the students to experiment with! LEGO has been the definite favourite so far. We can't wait for school to start up again, so we can return to Makerspace!
